You nailed it, Diana!

It's obvious that people requiring quick online or recorded voice fixing devices have no clue what they're talking about in the first place. One thing to add to this blog: you actually treat your student as a person, not only as a musical instrument, and any emotional problem that puts stress on the vocal chords and tires the body...you can sense that before anyone else, even the student himself/herself. That's rare, and extremely important!

My name is James Wilkinson, I was a student of yours in 1990 when you were on Caledonia. I just wanted to say hello and that I am still singing and now I have branched out to becoming a musician as well. I just wanted to say that the brief time we spent together left a lasting impression. I still remember the basic structure for singing you taught me and it still works.

I'm doing well. Not performing live anymore, since I married and moved down to New Hampshire, USA, four years ago from Toronto. Crazy, crazy story! But, I still sing! I've not ruled out joining a band, or starting my own here in the US.

I had no lofty aspirations, nor dreams of rock stardom... You simply brought out the best in me, and helped me fulfill a lifelong dream.
