| Sarah has been performing since the young age of four as a pianist and a dancer.
She began competing in music and dance festivals across Canada and the United
States winning numerous awards. As she grew older she felt the desire to really
express herself through movement and had the opportunity to train at the
prestigious Quinte Ballet School and later in Ryerson’s theatre-dance program.
It was here that Sarah had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s top
teachers and choreographers such as Nadia Potts, Robert Desrosiers, Bill James
and Vicki St. Denys to name a few. It was at this time in her life that Sarah
discovered a new love for singing. She began training in the musical theatre
style at Ryerson and upon her graduation Sarah received numerous stage and
television credits to her name that have taken her across Canada and to New York
City to perform. Some of her favourites include Little Red Riding Hood/Stirling
Theatre, Prix Alliance/Harbourfront Centre, Homegrown Café/CJOH TV and
Deerhurst Resort, where Shania Twain had also once performed on this
stage.

Sarah has always had a love for music and was always a very
musical person, always singing and composing songs but had never taken any
formal training in voice besides her musical theatre and jazz at school. In
November, 2005, Sarah was performing in a brand new theatrical show as the lead
role and sadly did not make it to the opening night as a result of a bad car
accident. As recovery time dragged on, Sarah decided to really follow her dreams
of singing and possibly recording her songs. She met Diana Yampolsky a few
months after the accident and began studying with her vocal science technique.
Sarah felt the change in her voice was dramatic and continued to study with
Diana. She has now completed a musical theatre demo and is in the process of
completing her pop/rock demo with Diana. Sarah is so excited for the possible
outcome of this demo and believes that Diana has taught her how to make her
voice soar and be the best that it can be. Sarah’s passion for music
is undying and she wants nothing more than other people to hear her music
and feel the same wonderful things that she does when she sings. As Diana would
say, "the best is yet to come!!"
